I thought so, but then I saw it in the light !

The people who sold it were cool and they did come off the price.

I have almost got the tank cleaned........ 4 hours I worked on it today.
My wife would not even let me put it in the garage until I got that far!
The stand and most likely the canopy are not salvageable. I'd post pics , but I don't want it to seem like I'm badmouthing the previous owners

Oh well. Worked out best anyway. I'm designing a wall unit enclosure with an above tank refugium and hidden frag tank for it. I need vaulted ceilings and a few more feet of wallspace! I think I need a few holes drilled in the tank though.... where can I go.

I am going to also do an above the tank refugium in the new house. I cant do it here without it looking tacky. But that is definitely the way to go man.

We decided to redo the flooring in the house , so I have to get the floor put in (or do it myself "God help us"). I think I want to go with that new stuff that is like hardwood flooring but is impossible to scratch or break and waterproof. It a type of floating floor that fits together tounge and groove style. Anyway..I'll be pricing that tomorrow to see if I'll have to e-bay one of my sons to get the cash. :o

I think counter tops are easier than floors. I did the counter in my kitchen and I am planning on tiling the floors in my bathroom and laundry room. I don't think my experience with the counters will help much. Good going on the tank. You wanna race to see who can get theirs going the quickest? I guarantee you will win.

Well after 5 hours of tiling i have most of it done. Only thing i did not do was the special cut pieces and places i had backed myself in. I figured it would be easy standing on the tile to do those so i quit for the day.
