I'm intrested in the aquaC urchin. Do you think its possible for me to build a plexiglass flow tray onto the outfall simmilar to the hang on remora? It wouldnt need to be load supporting. Just someting to make the outgoing water do a 90deg turn and flow down over the lip of my sump. (I will stand it next to the sump (15gal tank), not in it). I can probably arrange a pickup in Pcola in the next week or so.
sure, I have seen that done somewhere, but I have never tried that myself. There is a thread somewhere around here or another site that shows it. I have to work today at 3pm so I wont be able to answer any ones calls. It would be a good day to call me on this friday (1/27/06) because I don't have to work. Can you measure the distance of the gap between the unit base and the inside of the downturned gray plastic tube. I want to see if it fit over the plastic molding lip of my fuge tank. That will tell me if I would have to modify that also. Thanks.
