Need a sump tank

Post by Scott »

I need a cheap tank to use as a sump. Looks don't matter as long as it holds water. A tank with a footprint of 22x30 would be the max size.

Thanks,
Scott

How do you make baffles in rubbermaid? I would like to incorporate a refugium but don't know who to with rubbermaid.

Most people seem to be using a smaller rubbermaid container that fits inside the larger, resting on the outside lip on one end of the big container. A stand pipe is installed in the smaller container and some water is routed from the overflow into this container. From there, it is gravity fed into the sump to be pumped back into the tank. Seems to be a quite plankton-friendly way of doing it.

What ever happened with this? If Scott didn't get it we might be interested. Let us know if you still have the tank available.

Why do we park in a driveway, and drive on a parkway?
There is NO SUCH THING as a hot water heater.
