Pregnant Peppermint Shrimp

Post by HAMsmith »

I noticed I have a pregnant peppermint shrimp. I don't have another tank to try any kind of a hatching setup.

Should I be worried about the baby shrimp fouling my tank as it is only a 24g? I figured I would just let nature run it's course but wanted to ask first just in case.

Thanks,

Martin

I think you are safe. It is unlikely that you would experience any fouling from a single clutch from one shrimp. I just would let things run their course, unless you want to raise the larvae.
