used 75 gallon tank for sale

Post by SaltnLime »

This is for a used 75 gallon tank with a corner overflow. The overflow has 2 bulkheads and a return and stand pipe.

Noted things about tank..

No center brace :D

Prev owner siliconed platic over the overflow front and side glass so he could not see the pipes ..I pulled it off and now there is silicone residue that needs to be removed :?

Tank was set up holding water when I purchased it , but it is used and has some uneven silicone work... I intended to recaulk the whole thing if I was going to set it up

Here are some pics

Here you can see the overflow box and the removable strainer at the top (took the front one off for the pic). To mee the slate are too big and I would ramke 2 custom ones with smaller slate if I kept it. Was working fine as is though.

Scott, if you don't get this for your bud, I'll take it..... but if you do, I can buy a new 55 or 75 for just a bit more, so no sweat either way :)

What are the dimensions on this tank? it's 48" by 18" tall by 20" "deep"? Or is it 18" deep? Hope it's 18 deep, else it may not fit under the stand.

also willing to trade for a mag 9.5 pump. So if you wanna save some bucks or have one lying around.... it would save me the hassle of ordering one.

I don't have a mag 9.5 or anything similar... I'd be paying up in cash. Let me know if you hear from Scott, he's still got first dibbs.

Hmm, count me out for now; Scott probably wants it anyway. I just scored an unknown size tank, 3-5 feet long "heavy enough that two people have to lift it" aquarium for $50 heheheheheh.... if it's not the right size, I'll sell it and get a new 55 or 75.

OK, I got the "unknown" tank today, and it's a 55G. It's in perfect shape, but you know what, it looks a little on the small side. Shawn, will that 75 sit flat on the ground with the two bulkheads installed? Scott, did you buy this already? What sizes are the bulkheads?

nope it will not sit flat with the bulkheads. You would have to build your stand with some space under the tank. The bulkheads I believe are for 1" and 1/2 pvc. I don't think Scott want's it.

sell price $50.

SOLD, SOLD, SOLD! When can I grab it?

533-9265 anytime tomorrow, or hell, bring it to the meeting if you have a truck (I'm thinking you do?), and we can load it into my SUV.
