Lighting question

I know this should be in the lighting section of the board but I haven't seen anyone post there much. I have an Icecap 175w MH balast. A friend of mine found a few 150w MH bulbs and I was wondering if I could power them with the 175 balast? Or will it overdrive them and cause them to blow out?
