The only place I have ever seen it sold was at B&B years ago.

Called pretty much every shop around. Gularium is the only one with live brine, and they just started the culture so it's not for sale.

If they don't have brine, I would doubt anyone to have blackworms?

Growing your own isn't hard. If your old enough and remember Sea Monkeys that is all they were. Eggs, a 2 liter bottle and an aerator is all it takes.

Thanks. I started the culture earlier. I'm trying to get a finicky eater to eat something, so I am hoping he'll take BBS as I doubt I'll have time to grow the brine out.

True, but brine shrimp can be gut loaded easily, making just as nutritious as any other foods available. Plus, it's live, upping the chance the fish will eat it.

The live black worms may be your best bet as far as feeding. I used to know a few folks who grew them, along with true bloodworms (i.e. not mosquito larvae) locally for Betta sp. breeding, but they are no longer around. If you do manage to get some, though you may have to consider ordering them, try pressing them into some coral skeleton or live rock. Another alternative, at least to make sure they do get some food, is to find someone who has an abundance of small feather dusters (I know many have a lot in their sump) and to put a pile of those in. That will at least hopefully keep them well fed. In the meantime, keep trying all the foods you listed in that thread. One suggestion to try adding onto that is to look at H2O Life mini mysids. Can't hurt to try at this point. They are much smaller than PE and they are at least whole.

This is an easy maintenance system. You just add Artemia cycsts and they are gradually introduced into the water column in their larval stage (with yolk sacs) and are still nutritionally viable with having to gut load. I bought one but have yet To use it. B&B had them for $14. Will update when it's up and running.
