any interest in toadstool frags?

Post by ShagMan »

I'm getting another one/two toadstools, and I'm thinking about chopping up the large toadstool we have currently; I've read that you can just cut the crown off, and chop that up into frag sizes, mount them, and they'll all grow into small toadstools, plus the "stalk" from the original will grow a new head. Does anyone want such a frag if I do it? I'm looking for trades, other softies. Anyone?

the stalk will not grow if there are no polyps left on it, thats how it feeds

Terry can chime in here, but I don't think that's true :) Terry cut off his size XXXL toadstool to relocate it, and now has two of them. I also have a baby toadstool that formed when part of the stalk on mine relocated itself.

Terry is MR. Leather. We went by there the other night and he had little clumps of some kind of leather popping up all over some LR.
