Aqua Works

Well I ended up at Aqua Works on friday over in Pensacola (1 of 2 stops) and they ended up having a new shipment of rock, so I picked up a needed piece. Wasnt quite cured as it was new, a little stink, so I am curing it in my 30gal rubbermaid I use for doing so.

I was in Aqua works when they had just started their "reorganization" we will call it... and from then to now is a huge difference. Very nice, the setup is really coming along. Was told they are trying to get everything done this weekend and be back to 100% this week.

They were very friendly and very helpful.

Was this the new store off of Creighton, or the original Aquaworks off of Texar?

The store on Texar just over the bridge.

They completely redid the store.

Yes, Dave is a great guy. I got all my live rock and sand from here. Loved my tank until Ivan just ate it. However wont happen to me again, I now have a generator pretty much just for my tank.

I would suggest going over to Aquaworks (Tim's store) over Aquaria. The change between locations and those two guys has been amazing. Tim's new store is larger, cleaner and has a better selection. They are located on ninth ave in the CiCi's Pizza shopping center east of Creighton Rd. Check it out, I was impressed.

Maybe we're catching them on an off time but the last couple of times we have been to either one, on Saturdays, they hardly have any inventory so to speak. It's unusual for me not to buy anything, but the last couple of times, I've come home empty handed.
