Too Early to tell for us. But if a cat 4-5 is coming our way.. we'll be packing our kitties, birds, dog, etc.. and getting the heck out of dodge.

If we left, we wouldn't leave our cats or dog or birds....we would have to leave our tanks behind. unfortunately. But if it's a Category 4 or 5, i'm OUTTA here. My folks live North of Montgomery and so does Brandon's Mom.

If you do stay, don't forget to make sure you have a hand operated can opener.

Like Deanna said, we're gonna stay... we happened to be well equipped... have camping supplies (LP grill and lantern, and fuel)... and are well equipped with water, keep about 20 gallons on-hand for tank emergencies. I hope those UPS batteries come in weds, otherwise we could be in trouble for the reef tank!

Luckily for us, State Farm quoted us on renter's insurance about a week ago, so we called in and made good on that policy, including dropping a payment off :) Deanna said when she walked in, the ladies were getting flooded with calls afking about insurance, and State Farm was alreeady turning everybody away... we still got it because we had gotten a quote previously.

A neighbor and I are gonna go shopping for plywood to board up the windows, however I think we're gonna be SOL, neighbor said there were people in line this morning at HD already.

Bought 4 battery operated air pumps and an inveter too boot. The inverter will power up to 700 watts so that is alot of powerheads. Also freezing small bottled water for the tanks if they get hot.
