dug up this old thread to say I broke down and redid the 29 gallon. Going to use it as a grow out/trader frag tank. Minimal Large pieces of live rock with no fish.

Staying with softies is not a bad thing at all, just preference and sense of challenge. Softies are very beautiful in their own right.

I've lost as many softies as anything else. I really don't think SPS are that much harder, I just like the purty colors.

You could always do a Ricordia tank if you want color ! Want to throw some in with all those SPS? My treat !

What color Ricordia do you have. I really like them. I got one of Elizabeths really nice orange/pink ones but it floated around and got lost. I haven't seen it since. I do have a couple of bluish ones.

The tank should be about ready for me to start adding frags this week. That damned hair algae is just about all dead. It only took 3 days outta water....two tooth brushes and two weeks without lights. :evil:

I want more ricordia, why is that stuff so damn high ? Aquaworks wants $15 a head.

YEah thats about right for the Local stuff :wink: ... Yuma polyps can average over a 100 bucks a polyp. :shock:
