Are you going to mod the standpipe to prevent gurgling?

here is another version of the one I posted above. I do not have them in a hangon overflow box like that. I have dual overflows in the corners of the tank.

I would consider some kind of water sealant, white paint inside the canopy. Helps reflect light and protects the wood from water splash.

ha ha last pic is a good one i have found my 2 cats doing the same sorts of things!!!!

why not paint the back blue on the top that fades black at the bottom

ive seen a few tanks that even went as far as figuring out how they want to aquascape there tank then painting a fade ( like 2 stacks of rocks you look between ther would be a u or v shape and paint it to enhance the aquascape) i had thought about it for min but since its a corner tanks and i have a large blue weir in the back it just would not look right!!!!

good luck with every thing if you need any help just ask --- dont move a tank by your self!!!!

My entire back is covered in coraline so it didn't even matter too much. I didn't even want to attemp to keep the back clean. With the black stand and canopy the black background would probably make the sand stand out even more.
