Rich has a 240 gallon tank dim of 8' x 2' x 2' and he said he would let me have it for $400. What do you guys think, it already has overflows i believe.

No stand or canopy, but we weren't planning on using a "regular" stand or canopy, we were planning on putting it in the wall.
Wonder what it is going to take to get a bigger tank?????

Is it used? He said he could get me a new 150 RR for $400. No stand or canopy. So I would say go for it.

We are going to take a look at it tomorrow.

Is there any good method of looking for scratches in glass tanks? I can see the big scratches and can feel them with a fingernail, but I can't feel the small scratches that I can see with all the lights on. Maybe you should take a flashlight. Good luck.

Probably not Scott. Either way if my tank did not have scratches in it i would think i was in the wrong house.

Hey guys I have seen this tank. I was over there the other day when he brought it home. It was in the back of his truck and still had sand residue in it. It is long (it hung out the back) and had built in overflows on the two narrow ends. I asked him about it and he told me it was designed to be viewed from both sides.

Of course, I thought of Kevin immediately. I think you ought to buy it and put it in the "proverbial hole in the wall".

BTW....$400 sounds dreadfully cheap to me!
