Green Star Polyps are usually easy to care for and not very demanding. A couple of questions I would ask are; how much water flow are the polyps getting and have you noticed anything nipping or eating the polyps? They should have gentle water flow but do not need anything real strong and certainly no direct flow. They are pretty adaptable light wise. Anything from compacts to halides depending on the depth of the aquarium.
