Ok yall,

I am attempting to go to USA, and need scholarships. If anyone has any information please let me know. Especially due to the way I spend money in my truck and aquatic hobbies.

Thanks,

Kris

Well, if you make above a 28 on your ACT and your grades average above 3.0, then you'll qualify for their full scholarship, which is a full-ride. At least those were the prerequisites when I went through the whole process.

I'd apply for it, still. You may not get a 100% full ride, but you'll get pretty damn close. Your GPA is (much) higher than mine was (I'm a slacker), but I made up for the deficiency with a 32 on the ACT. Many, if not most, schools will balance the two--so if one is lower and the other is higher, then you should be in the clear. Apply for as many scholarships as humanly possible, btw.

It is amazing how many intelligent people are slackers.

I think it's an illness... I know I'm too lazy. I feel like a slug, sometimes.

Yeah it is an illness. We are just starting to understand a very small portion of mental illness, but at least we are making progress.

That is true. I have a friend, he has 2.3 GPA, but made a 36 on the ACT. dont understand. I get frustrated because i bust my butt to get good grades in all AP classes (Technically i am enrolled in USA due to classes) and do good, but when it comes to the ACT, that is a mean standardized test!!! :x

From what I heard, if you buy one of those study books/reviews, it is supposed to help tremendously. They can get expensive, but a few friends bought it together and took turns using it. It allowed them a ~4 point positive difference each (I don't think any of them made less than 3 more points, but no more than 4, which is substantial). I'm just waaaay too lazy for that.

If you do not enjoy reading and it is boring material you have to "force" yourself to study, if only in short increments a day.
