wanted to buy: almost any used gear, live or dead rock

Post by jason75 »

I'm setting up a 225 gallon reef tank. I have the tank, stand and ballasts.

I need:

Live rock or dead rock. It makes no differance to me as long as it is calcium carbonate.

Sump, preferably a 75 gallon tank. I have a 55 but want to run an external return pump now.

Pumps, I want high efficiency pumps that are external. Panworld, iwaki, reeflow, ETC... I need it to pump around 1200 to 2000 GPH at a 6 foot head.

A chiller. Preferably an inline or tower. Should be 1/4 horse power or larger.

New bulbs or lightly (haha pun intended) used. I have 3 250 watt metal halide ballasts, 2 400 watt metal halide balasts, a twin 130 watt power compact ballast that will take 130 watt or 96 watt straight pin bulbs, an ice cap 430 that I am running 2 6 foot 160 watt bulbs on.

I want another icecap 430 or 660 so I can run 2 or 3 more 6 foot 160 watt bulbs.

I need plumbing hardware, bulkheads, internal over flows, gate valves, ETC...

Cacium reactor. Doesn't really matter how big it is as long as it work DIY is fine too.

Kalk reactor. DIY is fine also.

GFO reactor. DIY is fine.

I will concider almost any aquarium related items. Things I'm not interested in are canister filters, trickle filters, any type of hang on or mechanical filters.

I have cash now to spend on it so if you have anything reef tank or salt water related feel free to contact me in a PM or post here. Email is georgiamae@att.blackberry.net.
I will only do pick up.

I also have a 1/5 hp chiller that ran our 180 just fine, its a drop in chiller, has the temp probe with it as well. We ran 4 400 watt MH and 4 80 w t5s 5-6 hrs a day and the temp never varied more than 2 degrees.

Both pumps are too big sorry. If I needed a hammerhead I would buy it but as it is I could not even afford to power it.
