I bought my daughter an eclipse system 3 all in one tank from petsmart and made a pico out of it. I left everything stock, and have some green star polyps, a yellow tail blue damsel, and a peppermint shrimp in it. It was only like $40. I am not interested in selling it but just FYI.

I'm not sure what it stands for but its refering to tanks between .5gal and 5 gal i think? Smaller than a nano tank, which I understand nanos go up to about 30-40 gal these days. Watch yourself around the nano forums when you say you don't think a 30 gal tank is a nano. They will get all over you for that. In a couple of years 100 gal will be considered nanos.

Fishfood is exactly right.
just FYI (since I am an engineer and feel a compulsion to share) nano is a prefix denoting 1 x 10^-9, whereas pico is a prefix denoting 1 x 10^-12. In our realm, nano is small, and pico is really small.

A pico is a very small tank in the range of .5-5 gallons. It is also a brand of small tanks.
