I was wondering if a lawnmover blenny & a bicolor blenny could both go together in a 55 gallon tank.

IME, no. That even goes for a much larger tank. The lanwmower almost always harasses the smaller bicolor, mostly due to the same body plan and same dietary preferences.

Two blennies won't work together.

What are you using for nutrient export?

I have a Bi Colored and a Midas Blenny in the tank that get along great. The Midas dosn't seem to be an algae eater though.

Clearmax is labeled to use caution around inverts. I'd discontinue use to see if it helps at all.

I wasn't paying attention and thought this was your "my corals won't open thread." I'll move my response there.

If you have algae that keeps coming back, you might want to figure out WHY it keeps coming back !

All my parameters is in check unless the algae is interfearing with the teats.
