In the past wk I have noticed two nice fish missing....Well today I found them. I have a 240reef and there are two about 1ft wide cross members of glass used for braces at the top. The missing fish have jumped up on the glass to get a sun tan and got a little too much. I will have to get some plastic grating and make a wall to keep them off the glass and prevent future loses..I mention this since I know there are several other tanks built this way in our group. This is simular to carpet sking but on glass. Either way it is a loss. Anyone need some fishjerky?
I feel your pain. I found what looked like a potato chip behind my tank. It turned out to be a cinnamon clownfish. A few weeks later it's mate was found in the same place. I hate it when that happens.
After adding a Carpenter's Wrasse to our tank, I added eggcrate/lighting diffuser over the top, and have not (knock on wood) lost any to jumping.
He was jumping from tank to tank in the store... so I KNEW I would have trouble with him.
