That's exactly why I sit outside my vehicle and watch every move. On my last visit, they threw away my pan plug because it had no gasket. I have been changing oil for over 35 years ... I've never had a gasket there and never lost any oil because of it. When they tried to charge my 5 bucks for it, I ...

I never considered the power heads creating heat, but it makes complete sense. When I was running the Magnum, it didn't heat the water, but the unit itself got fairly hot. I'm glad them temps are okay, After turning the heater down, however, the temp has stablized at 80, which makes me feel better. ...

They seem to be well. They stay bunched up in one of the back corners of the tank. There isn't much circulation back there so I'm wondering if the power heads are making them uncomfortable. I've got two Regent 30-60s in the back. One power head is pointing up and pumping at a 45 to the center of the...

I never could keep plants, I wonder if the CO2 would had helped. Are premium freshwater tanks still not as clear as our saltwater cousins ? In the past this has always been the case. Just from remembering my last FW tanks and seeing yours now, I would agree. Even now, mine is still a bit cloudy. I ...

Great information guys ... Thanks alot. I like the idea of the Puntius denisonii. 20 bucks isn't my favorite price, but I can one or two at a time. I had Tiger Barbs with my first tank years ago, I liked them and may try some more for color, if they'll get along with the sharks. I don't know my PH y...

Filter parts wanted.

I have a pair of Regent 30-60 filters that need new impellers, and my Magnum 350 needs the snaps for the lid, "O"ring for the "out" line and prolly an impeller as well.

Just checking to see if anyone needed to get rid of this stuff before I went online to find it.

I have all the rack components in stock. If I don't have it, I can get it. But I'm glad I read this, I forgot about the rack you said you wanted.

I have considered live plants, but am not sure about taking care of them and the fish. I've heard it's a delicate balance. So, I'm installing undergravel filters and powerheads which will settle that problem.

New freshwater tank

I've just gotten back into keeping fish. I have aquired a 55 long and can probably handle most of any problems that show up. But in the event I can't help myself, whom among us has freshwater tanks, where do you post, and can I you ask for help?

Thanks,
Keefus
