This is the reason why whenever I see a rattler or a cottonmouth in the yard..I pull out the shotgun and blow it away! There are just too many kids around here and my dogs are fearless. Just too much of a liability to let things that dangerous live around my house. Now other snakes are free to slith...

BTW...the "barnacle" is real...Im not sure its really a barnacle but its on base rock that and was once some kind of coral or other invert. I just dont know which.
