Not exactly. It's a compromise between the extra depth of the 120 that I want and the height of the 110 that my wife wants. Being a 48" tank and only 40 gallons more all my accessories, lighting and filtration should work. That would leave me with a 110 to sell. It's my master plan (sort of). T...

Looking for a 150 gallon XH

I don't see many of them but if any of you folks run across a used AGA 150 XH in good condition at a fair price please let me know. The dimensions should be 48" x 24" x 30" high.

I can certainly understand the sentimental attachment but you are correct in assuming that it would be expensive to set up and maintain. You seem to be happy with his 55 gallon set-up and have that to remember him by. I personally think that you are doing the right thing in trying to pass it along t...

I couldn't agree with Michelle more. If you don't want to be responsible for the creatures which grow or show up in your tank, you need to find another hobby!

If you snip them off at the base with a sharp pair of sissors they will definately do well in your friends tanks. They will also return (regrow) in yours. If they become too numerous there is always selling or trading the mushroom rock.

Still seems to be swimming around all day looking constantly for a snack. So far I haven't found anything, other than red gracillia and halameda, that she won't eat. Frozen, flake, pellet, nori, you name it and she'll eat it. Also seems that the plant tank has done it's job in reducing nutrients to ...

From what I keep hearing it sounds like the only wrasse that doesn't jump is the one who's been lying on the carpet all night. Sorry to hear of your loss. As neat as they seem to be I think that I'm going to pass on wrasses. I prefer fish that stay in the tank.

It does look really nice. As long as you keep it well fed it should look better each week. Takes some time to acclimate (as all do) but they are beautiful creatures. Most that I've seen do not look this healthy. Good luck with it.

Sorry to hear of your situation. Hopefully you'll have everything back to normal soon. We all mess up occasionally. Sometimes I don't even need an occasion! :)
