Yea, you could be closed at the store on Monday afternoon (you'd probably still have to do maintenance in the morning) and still wind up having to work every day. Sorry Beaver, you still get no day off! :D

There you go Aquaman. The first response to the survey you haven't started yet. I'm sure that Beaver is thrilled that it's for working every day of the week. Sorry Beaver, I guess you get no time off any more!

I'm afraid that I'm not the one to bring the many. You being open from 12 - 2 will bring the many. Hire one person to work Noon to close or better 11 - 3. Stagger your maintenance to allow one of you to work with the newbie. Maybe even alternate. My bet is that you'll more than cover the payroll inc...

I wouldn't recommend you open on Sunday's. You need to be closed one day to escape. My recommendation would be to open earlier each weekday. You are completely missing the lunch hour business. When I worked in a LFS in Atlanta we had plenty of buyers and browsers (who later became buyers) from 12 - ...

When I used to use my old Minolta SRT101 (circa 1972), I used the standard lens and tripod mounted it. I also had a set of close up tubes I used when I wanted a real colse up. You could probably accomplish the same thing with a small zoom lens. I'm not sure, but I'm assuming that digital SLR incorpo...

Thanks Kristyn. They must do well to be able to only be open to the public 31 hours a week. Unfortunately, the only time I'm ever going through Mobile is in the late morning. Oh well, such is life.

I come through Mobile about once a month. Next trip will be Feb 22. Can you tell me what your store hours are? Hope you're open earlier than 2PM, thats when I have to be back in the office here in Crestview.

I'll second Sue's opinion. To me, that is what seperates MBRK from RC. I enjoy the relaxed and non confrontational flavor here. I've been doing aquariums for a long time (can you say slate bottom, metal frame tank) but there is still tons of information I don't know. The nice thing about posting her...

Buy the flooring if you can live with your decision after it's installed. You folks are two people. The damage has allready been done. If you don't buy it do you think it wont be sold. If two thousand people didn't buy it do you think it wouldn't be sold. I understand and appreciate your views but b...
