Is the copperband butterfly sold. Do you think it could go in my 65? Does it eat clams Tridacna? I am sorry that you are selling your tank. It is very nice.

Re: Acropora bleaching
Make sure that no softies, LPS or anenomes are near it. A single Aiptasia sting at the base of the coral could cause it to bleach all the way up. I have seen it. Watch out for mushroom corals also especially Rhodactis. Toadstool leathers may also produce toxins. Keep up the carbon reactor for toxins.

Re: Point and shoot cameras for reef pics
Thanks Strout, I think I will study the manual of my Nikon. I have a macro lens. My son has a 10 megapixil easy share that I can borrow.

Point and shoot cameras for reef pics
What are the best Point and Shoot cameras for reef aquaria pics? I have looked at some of the Fuji models. Some have a 24 x zoom and HD movie capability. I have a Nikon D-70 with a macro lens but can't get close enough.

Wow, that will be nice. I read on another Forum that LED's do not lose their intensity for 15 years. Are you going to keep clams here also?

Re: Blue Devils breeding
Thank Andrew, I went to the Foster and Smith site and it says that the male is larger and gurards the eggs after she lays them. My larger fish is also guarding. The female seemed to stay awhile in the little cave and the male would go in and out. They spawn upsidedown on the roof of the structure. T...

Blue Devils breeding
I posted this also on reef central. Woke up and saw both fish hanging out upsidedown in this coral rock ledge. Fish were extremly aggresive the other day and attacked my finger when I moved this rock. They had plans! I only have these two damsels in my tank. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f290/ta...

Re: New Squammy and pics
No problem, I even saw it trying to make the byssus while in the bag. I buried some coral rubble in the sand and set him here. I will check in a few days to see if he attaches. I might want to move him up. The tank is deep and I am not sure he gets enough light even with 8 bulbs.
