Not sure what type of plastic it is but its failry felxible so I dont think its acrilic. I assume the brace if functional however it bends alot if you press on it so it doesnt s...

Any problems w/using 1 metal halide over center brace?

Hey guys. I'm looking into buying one of the current outer orbit MH/PC combo fixtures. I need the 36" fixture that has only 1- 150w MH located right in the center. The problem is my 46gal BF has that stupid black center brace which is about 1 1/2" to 2" wide. Because the brace is righ...

I am building a box for my skimmer and people say the it is one of the best things to use as it causes a chemical weld. We have a bunch of the methylene chloride in our lab that we are always...

Six, the phosphates were in the 1 gal Great Value distilled water jugs. They also rasied the price in the last few months up to like $0.64/gal. That also helped me switch. It may be that they get their water from diffrent sources because I have heard people say they have been using it for years with...

I definatly recomend getting a RO/DO unit if you can. I was using distilled water from wal-mart for about 4 months and started having wicked hair alge blooms. I had it tested for phosphate it and low and behold it had some in it. Not much but at the rate I was adding it to the tank it really started...

Can you measure the distance of the gap between the unit base and the inside of the downturned gray plastic tube. I want to see if it fit over the plastic molding lip of my fuge tank. That will tell me if I would have to modify that also. Thanks.
