My question is, What is to strong for a 75 gal w/softies and acros? I am thinking one 2600 for the acros and a 820 crisscross from it for the softies. Then both go out at night for soft night wave. Any ideas on this?

I would like to have a couple of those vortex. The Tunze wave box is badass as well, but just like any thing with the tunze name its nice and pricy.

I hope the vortex aren't as expensive as the tunze, but I'm not going to hold me breath. :) I think it's the best idea yet, I want as little power equipment as possible in the water.

Karen, it might be a little much for your tank, but if you get it and it is, I may be able to trade the 1500 with you. I have a hard time getting the flow right between the 820 and 1100. I figure before I retire I'll get it right. Sometimes I wonder though.....
