Anyone have this book? What's your opinion on it. I'm thinking of getting it, and was just curious.

Just got mine in 2 days ago. (Off Ebay) There is a lot of information in this book. It is 450 pages. It is definetly not a coffee table reader, there are very few pictures. The concepts are supplemented with diagrams though to help explain them. The first half of the book is information on general water dynamics, lighting, heating, cooling, grow-out tank ideas, etc.. equipment and water quality basically. The Last half of the book is information about particular coral families, fragging concepts, diseases, propagating, etc..

A lot of the book is information for operations outside of the home aquaria (ie: cottage industries of grow out green houses, etc) , but the information is still useful. I'm pleased with the book so far just by scanning it and what little I have read (pg 71 so far). I will report overall when I finish it.

Sorry I didn't get to answering this on time. I have this book and find it to be an invaluable resource. If you have any corals at all I suggest you keep this book around. As you said, it isn't something you pick up to take into the john with you, but if you need some info, it's in there!

Hope you enjoy it!
