What kind of worm is this?

What is that and where did it come from?

This worm looks a lot like a synapta maculata (worm cucumber).
I'll respect you in the morning, but I won't wake up till noon.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but someone just brought this post to my attention today. because there was never a positive ID, I thought I might chime in and give my $.02. What is seen there is known as a Eunicid worm (Eunicidae, usual genus is Eunice). The four tentacles surrounding the mouth and the structure of the setae are a giveaway. Some species are simply carrion eaters and scavengers, while others are outright predatory (some on fish). I actually have a 1+ft individual in my tank (apparently for quite some time).
