YUK! Has anyone seen this ugly thing? It goes in and out of it's own body.

It's a peanut worm, you probably have lots of them, but i've never seen one out of the rocks. They're harmless, they feed on organic waste.

Yep Peanut Worm, part of it lives in the rock. Totally nocturnal.

More than likely it will not survive for any amount of time. One year tops I would think.

I put one of these little creepies in my sand bed months back. Came out of someone else's tank who had the thing for years-she just finally caught it because it freaked her out.
