Thanks All!
Ed, I think the rim is level enough. The big boys I learned from do not use a plywood surface or foam underlayment. Some of the bigger builders insist that the foam underlayment under a glass tanks edges can lead to increased differential joint stress. I am not sure I believe that. All I know is all of the big builders bear their glass tanks directly on the stand edges.
I will find out soon enough how level it is.

When I got my tank from Ocea, a tank builder that was based out of Navarre Fl, the owner was specific in telling me to use the foam for my 150g. I think the reason behind it was that he said that in case there was any uneveness that the foam would make up for it. It made sense back then, but not really now.
Anyways, great job, your a very skilled indivdual!

60 gallon cube. I want to make it so that I can have a bigger sump and a closet next to the tank for my equipment. So the stand would be like 3.5-4 feel long and the whole stand canopy would really just be one piece. Unfortunately, I know my abilities and that project is way to much for me.
Wanted: to set up a tank again.
