critter ID? tenatively a pistol shrimp
I talked with Liz over the phone, and due to the standard shrimp-sized torso and uneven-sized claws, we're thinking this is a pistol shrimp.... what do you guys think? He's tiny, like less than 1/2" long. Sorry for the crappy pics, that's zoomed/enhanced, there was a dust storm because I had just put some rock into the tank (which is where the shrimp came from).

They are pistol shrimp, the hitchhiker type. The more attractive variety like the Tiger Pistol are more desirable.
