How about a picture of your favorite coral?

That acro has been in the tank for about 4.5 months. It was white when I purchased it. It colored up over about a three week period. It is by far the best deal I have ever gotten.
The camera is a Nikon CoolPix 2100. It is not very good. I have to have the coral in just the perfect position to get a good picture. There is a what I believe is an ORA chips looking coral about 4 inches from this piece and it is just as good looking (bright gree with purple/pink tips). I cannot get a picture of it to save my life.

Hey Joe, looks like your pictures are a lot better than mine. That pipe organ is nice. How long have you had it? Are there any special requirements for them? Do they grow?
Phil, I am going to move mine to the front just to take a picture to see if I can do any better. I am pretty sure they are the same just different colors.

Wanted: to set up a tank again.
Scott this is the first piece I have kept and I just got it about 3 days so I can't say much from experience. What I have read it that they are fairly hardy, don't have real high light requirments and like good water flow. And they are suppose to be very similar to star polyps so I'm sure they grow!

Pipe Coral
pipe coral does grow...and pretty fast. However, it's not as hardy as some others. I'm not sure why. Living in Houston, pipecoral was real popular in reef tanks because it was inexpensive. Let me know how it goes.
