Welp, there's DEFINITLY something very wrong with my tank. All three of my queen conchs died... the largest was something like 3" long and they were all about a year old Do you guys have any idea offhand what would kill snails so effectively?
Rich told me that low calcuim or alk could cause snails to die. Copper will also cause them to die. You haven't dosed anything that might have copper in it have you?
Check all parameters with a good know kit, either alk too low or high my guess. I have seen them die under both conditions.

"That's right."--Cellmate
do you dose Iodine? could be a little poisoning problem going on. My conch stayed upside down for several days, then it "shedded" and now it's fine. this was like 3 months ago. could be the same way crustaceans molt do to iodine, it may kill gastropods.
