Pocket Guide to Marine Invertebrates

Great little book, especially on host anemones. Ron Shimek is one of the few people I trust on the subject. Makes a great complement to the Marine Fishes book by Scott Michael.

Since the most recent post in this forum appears to be about a year and a half ago I wonder if we all gave up reading or is there nothing new to share since that time? :?

Well my wife got me the 2005 edition of Reef Aquarium Fishes by Scott Michael for Christmas. It was a much needed upgrade from the only other book i have, Exotic Marine Fishes by Axelrod, Burgess and Emmens dated 1988.

That is a good book. I get a big discount on books, so it is only natural that I snatched up all three of his current volumes. I am waiting on the fourth and fifth, but not holding my breath.
