Here is the one that I use at work. It is by far the brightest flashlight I have ever seen.

I've got a dozen of them. Everything from 4 D cells to the little mini that fits on a key chain. I have four of the ones that take 2 AA's for work but they eat batteries and bulbs. The Stream Light is rechargable and I have a friend that has one that is using the same bulb for 4 years. That and it has to be 10 times brighter.

Luxeon stars are the future in lighting. They are using them in dive lights now.

They fit in a pocket ok. That is about it. I can see the beam from my Stinger 30-40 feet away on a wall during the day (inside my work that has skylights and 400 watt metal halides all around), I can barely see my maglight beam 5 feet away with new batteries at night.

Be careful buying anything with odd batteries (Lithion ion 123, AAAA, etc). They can get expensive to replace and the LED flashlight that I had ate them like candy. That is why I either use lights that use regular batteries or are rechargable. The Streamlight Stinger that I use came with a AC and DC chargers so I can charge them at work or in my truck.

I have no intentions of buying a flashlight at all, just like gadgets.

dang, what's wrong with a good ol' 3D maglight? Mine's great, and usually lasts a year or more with the light use I put on it. Yes, it's kinda large, but it's tough.

Scott, that one you posted was pretty friggin' awesome... xenon bulb  how much do those run?

I got the Stinger with both chargers for $110. It was off the Snap On truck so I am sure it was a little overpriced. I will try to do a pictoral comparison. I am not sure if I have a bulb for one of the AAA lights that I have at home though.
