Activity on this website seems to be declining a great bit. A few months ago, I would check out the new posts and almost without fail, I would find new posts every time I logged on. Now it can go a whole day with only a couple posts. And everyone has just forgot about an August meeting. whats up with that..no one started a thread until just yesterday. It seems like lately we have a lot of new people joining. We dont want them to think that we are a dying club. I just hope this is a phase and members start posting more often...thats what make people come back. I have left many forums due to lack of new posts. I hope that I dont get bored of MBRK for the same reason.

Thats just my opinion.

I think it happens a lot in the summer. People are going on vacation and have other things to occupy their time. In a few months it will get back to normal (I hope).

As for me, my wife has been seriously ill for the past several months. She was in the hospital twice in the last 30 days and the first time she was there for two weeks. I have to do wound care and give her meds through an IV twice a day. That and having to take care of my 3 year old and my 14 month old take up most of my time.

There have been ups and downs in activity over the past few yrs. I believe that summer is usually a down time. I think this thing has too many members to fall apart anytime soon.

I vote that Daniel has the next meeting, all in favor say "I"

im currently in the process of moving!....I will do either the nov or dec meeting though.

Well I have been spending my spare time beating Amy. As soon as I have her straigtened out I will be back on.

I've taken up smoking crack instead, it's much cheaper.

I'm waiting for my parole. I don't get to use a computer much in the big house.

I also have taken up drinking as a hobby.

As soon as I can get away from my pimp and off the streets so that this infection can get better, I'll be able to come to a meeting. But the smell is pretty bad right now.

Do you do the 12 steps in these meetings?

Summer and Christmas holidays are usually slower...

You just have to love her....I mean she is too damn cool.

well it turns out that we are staying here for now...We will deffinatly have to have the meeting here in the fall-winter cause my house isn't that big and we will have to use the porch for seating as well.
