Snail ID

Anyone know the species of snail this is. It is our oldest living snail, 6 years old now from this pic and quadruple the size. The thing is scary large, very fast and I want more.

those black foot snails are the best. I'm drawing a blank as to what kind it is but I always try to have about a dozen in my tank. Not your ordinary snail that falls on its back and dies 2 months after you bought it, well worth the extra cash you spend on them up front because they do live for a long time and can flip themselves over.
