Selling Everything, 135 gal tank with coral and fish

Post by Fishfood »

Since I know its difficult to sell a complete setup I'm going to piece this sucker out. I have a 135 Reefready Oceanic tank with Oceanic Stand and Custom matching Canopy, Referbed Oceanic Sump with a Reeflo Dart Closed-loop. I'd like to get $700 for everything I mentioned above. I'm willing to negotiate.

I can not sell the tank until I sell all the Livestock. I'll need to sell the coral, than the rock and then the fish. I can't catch my fish with all the rock in there. Please go to my gallary for pictures of most of what I have. I'll have to come up with prices later today or this weekend.

Here is a list of a few things I have. I'll add more and prices to them later or PM me for the info.

Coral-
Green Bubble- Fist sized when closed.. Nice and large when open
Nice large Hammer Coral - Not the branching type
Reddish zoanthid colony
Green Star polyps
Hammer/tourch/frogspawn frag
Pink Starfish
3 different Favias
Red Lobo - $25

Yellowfin Wrasse - $25
Blackcap Basslet - $25
Pearl Jawfish - $15

Snails - $1 each

Live Rock - I'm not sure but probably right around $2.25-$2.50 per lb.

Please check out the pictures in my picture gallary on this site. I still have most of what is shown there.

PM me for more info and my phone # so you can set up a time to swing by and check the stuff out.

I'll have an ASM G3 skimmer, Blueline 55HD return pump, phosban reactor, DE MH setups and more after the tank is empty.

That Bubble is awesome. The wall Hammer is too. They're all nice corals.

You still have that little torch frag? I might have to get that one. :)

Update... Well I'm going to pull a Billy Donovan here. After talking with my wife I've decided to hold on to the tank and most of the equiptment. She loves the tank as do I but I actually talked myself into selling it and didn't discuss it with her.

All the livestock and live rock are still for sale along with the MH lighting. I think that might be the only equiptment I plan to sell, but I still reserve the right to change my mind and sell everything.

I think my wife actually talked me into maybe keeping it up and running when I remove all the fish and coral and getting a couple aggressive fish. I just want to take it down and devote some time to a few other projects first.

Price list coming shortly..

Fish

Yellowfin Wrasse - $25
Blackcap Basslet - $25
Lamark Angelfish - $15
Mated Pair of Glass Cardinals - $20 I will not seperate them.

I have a bunch of little frags as well that I can't even list. Probably a few chuncks of $10 zoanthid frags, other frags for $5. Green Sinularia for $10. Its hard to put this list togther here at work. I guess I need to get more organized.

I have a marron/purplish Blasto frag/colony for $25

I don't know if I'm pricing some of this stuff to much so I'll negotiate or throw in a frag if need be. I just know the price I paid for the stuff and what it would cost to get similar corals back. I'm not in a rush to sell so I'm not going to slash prices too much either.

I will be around all weekend if you want to come see what I have.

Wall Hammer - $40 I'm going to say its a good 5-6 inches across if not more.

Zoanthid rock - $30

Red Lobo - $25

Green & Orange Scolymia - $45 This thing is a monster. It can probably open up to 6-8 inches in diameter.

Favia - $35 This is bigger than my open hand

Calustria (sp?) - $35 My tank doesn't do this justice. Dave at Aquaria loves when I bring him frags of this. They glow bright green under his Actinics. Blackcap Basslet - $25

Great Pics, Drew. Those really show how nice those corals are.

Glad you're going to keep the tank, I think you'll be glad you did. :)
