Sea Robbin

A couple of you guys know, I've been keeping a Sea Robbin in my reef for about six months now. I caught him as a .75" baby in the bay while I was catching bait. He's a good reef fish, but soon will be big enough to swallow his neighbors. I'm building a mangrove tank right now that will be his home when finished.

My first video, ever (lucky you :) )

Cool vid and fish. That's honestly the first time I've ever seen one that actually eats pellets. Good deal.

Yeah, I was surprised too. Other than the jumping, it's a great fish.

I'd consider giving him to somebody with a bigger tank, he needs a sand bottom, but that's it.

Cool, it may be a Bighead sea robin. I would not trust it with any reef fish or inverts when it gets a little larger.

Yup, he's got "ambush predator" written all over his spiny lizard head. :D
