What the heck????
Does anyone know what this is??? It appears to be a transparent cylindrical shape, with lots of "dots" in it. it all flows together as a single "thing" in the current. Just guessing, I'd say it looks like some sort of egg thing???? I have no clue though. I'm hoping I'm not about to have an even bigger mess on my hands.

Do you have snails? Could be a slime trail with sand grains in it.

i was wondering if it was an egg mass of some sort just because of how it seemed too well together to be just slime. it looks like it was there on purpose. but nothing has happened yet. i do have snails too.

I would be willing to bet it is eggs from snails. If you have a magnifying glass, get a closer look and you should be able to tell. You could also take a razor blade and just scrap it off as even if it is eggs, the chance of survival isn't really good due to the size of our systems. Really just becomes coral food.
