Moving my tank

I am going to be moving to a new apartment in the next couple weeks and I was wondering what the best way to move my tank is. I was thinking of draining the water in to 6 gallon buckets and putting my rock and everything else in there. Then just moving the tank and then putting it all back in. is th...

granted my tank hasen't been set up for very long, just about a month now. but i am using a plennum w/ 50 lbs of sand nice and thick. I am also using a cascade 300 for a fuge and i havent had any nitrates yet. Its a 20H if you were wondering what size tank it is.

That sounds like it would work. The hight of the tank is what worries me too. i think your going to have to add more lighting depending on what your planning on keeping in there. how many watts are you running right now 40?

I would have stayed with the 10 gallon but you didn't so it will end up looking good. You should have done a plennum system and a lot more sand to get all your stuff a little closer to the lights. Plus you won't have a problem with nitrates that way either. but thats just my opinion and i am sure it...

I will be moving in a couple weeks so once its put together i will know wha...

But being the poor college student that I am I don't have all that fancy stuff to put there so what’s the first thing that p...
