I was walking by the tank and saw something swimming very rapidly back and forth. NOTHING was chasing it, but it was swimming really fast. I thought it was my long lost purple firefish. I managed to scoop it up. It has a white head with plainly visible eyes and a red body with some sort of cilia that beats to cause it to move. Looks like a red millipede. It is really gross. We thought it was a bristle worm, but wasn't aware that they had eyes.
I have seen something like it years ago but not that size.
"When they was no meat we ate fowl, when there was no fowl we ate crawdad. And when there was no crawdad to be found, we ate sand."--Cellmate
"You ate what?"--H.I.
"We ate sand."--Cellmate
"You ate sand?"--H.I.
"That's right."--Cellmate
I had a white one in my tank one night. I caught it to see what it was and put it back, I haven't seen it since. It was shooting around my tank like a missle.
