Shawn's new tank

Post by SaltnLime »

Well, I ended up buying Mike's 110 Gallon tank after all. He and Leslie along with Tony helped me move the tank Sunday. Let the record reflect that it was my longest fish tank relocation to date. We started about 9 AM Sunday and I went to bed ALMOST up and running at 4AM Monday.

Leslie gave up her day at the beach to help and Mike was more than happy to help me relocate it as shown below!

I think Mike just saying that you are number one. Good going, what are you going to do with the 75 gallon that you bought?

ummm did you view image size to see the pixels? they are HUGE, but at least a small enough file size to load in my clunky dial up.

So what are you going to do with all that rock? I'll asume use it, but if not, I have a 20 just dying to get some LR in it ;)

Did you buy tank/stand/canopy for the 75 earlier or just the tank? I'm looking for a sump :)

I got the tank, stand and canopy, but had to toss the stand and canopy due to previous water damage.

The tank would not make a good sump as it is RR with a corner overflow and 2 bulklhead fittings.

Actually, it'd still be fine for a sump, after I put in a capped bulkhead for the corner overflow, rip out the overflow itself and use the bulkheads for the drains........ but I'd only be willing to pay about $100 for the tank too :-D Seriously though, you're right, that needs to go to somebody looking for a reef tank setup.

If Scott does'nt want it you can have it. I'll sell it for $75 either way.....

I'll post some into about it in the for sale area.

I love the first pic, i did not even have to look at the rest of the picture to know who it was. Of course the tatoo also was a give away.
